- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion
- 2 cans (10 oz) green beans
- 20 oz cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup cheese
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and coat a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
- Cook the ground beef and onion in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat for 8 minutes, breaking up the beef until it reaches 160 F.
- Drain the green beans, then stir them with the mushroom soup and milk in a large bowl.
- Fold in the cooked beef mixture and spread it in the baking dish.
- Top the casserole with cheese and bake for 20 minutes, until bubbling and melted.
- Rest the casserole for 5 minutes before serving.
