- 16 oz shell pasta
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 can (12 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/8 tsp pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
- Boil the shell pasta in salted water until tender, then drain it.
- Brown the beef and onion in a large skillet for 8 minutes until the beef reaches 160 F.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, mushroom soup, salt, pepper, and garlic powder, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Mix in the pasta, spread the mixture in the baking dish, and cover it with cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese melts and the casserole is hot.
