Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 6 oz unsalted butter
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
- 1 orange
- 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp fresh orange juice
- 1 tbsp honey
Steps
- Heat the oven to 425 F and lightly oil a baking sheet.
- Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and citrus zest in a large bowl.
- Cut in the cold butter until crumbly, then stir in the yogurt, one egg, orange juice, and honey.
- Pat the dough 1 inch thick, cut 8 biscuits, and place them on the baking sheet.
- Beat the remaining egg with a little water, brush it over the biscuits, and bake for 12 to 14 minutes.
