Ingredients
- 2 lb potatoes
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 onion
- 4 cup green cabbage
- 3/8 cup milk
- 1/4 tsp prepared yellow mustard
- 2 tsp parsley
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Steps
- Peel and cube the potatoes, place them in a large pot, cover with water, and boil for 12 to 15 minutes until tender.
- Melt half the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook the onion and cabbage for 6 to 8 minutes until soft.
- Drain the potatoes and mash them with the milk, remaining butter, mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Stir in the cooked cabbage, onion, and parsley until evenly mixed.
