Ingredients
- 2 russet potatoes
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp chipotle chili pepper
- 3 tbsp ketchup
- 3 tbsp salsa
- hot sauce to taste (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 450 F and line a large baking sheet with oil.
- Cut the potatoes into thin fries, then toss them with cornstarch, salt, garlic powder, pepper, cumin, and chipotle pepper.
- Spread the fries in one layer on the baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes.
- Turn the fries and bake for 5 more minutes, until browned and tender.
- Stir the ketchup, salsa, and optional hot sauce together in a small bowl.
