- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 1 un-baked deep-dish pie shell
- 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and place the unbaked pie shell on a baking sheet.
- Beat the cream cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, salt, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and one egg until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly in the pie shell.
- Whisk the remaining eggs, 1/4 cup sugar, corn syrup, and 1 teaspoon vanilla in a bowl.
- Stir in the chopped pecans and pour the mixture over the cream cheese layer.
- Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, until the center is firm and the filling reaches 160 F.
