Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1 packet taco seasoning mix
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups pepper jack or cheddar cheese
- 2 cans (8 oz) 8 count each refrigerated pillsbury crescent rolls
- shredded lettuce
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and grease a large round baking pan with cooking oil.
- Cook the beef and onion in a skillet over medium heat for 8 minutes, until the beef reaches 160 F.
- Stir in the taco seasoning and water, then simmer for 3 minutes.
- Arrange the crescent dough triangles in a ring on the pan, overlapping their wide ends.
- Spoon the beef mixture and cheese over the wide ends, then fold the dough points over the filling.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until golden, then top with shredded lettuce.
