Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 cloves crushed garlic
- 1/2 cup onion
- to taste salt (optional)
- to taste pepper (optional)
- 3 plum tomatoes
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1/2 cup water
Steps
- Mix the ground beef, half the garlic, half the onion, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into small meatballs and set them aside.
- Heat a thin layer of cooking oil in a large skillet over medium heat and brown the meatballs for 8 minutes.
- Add the remaining onion, garlic, and tomatoes, then cook for 5 minutes.
- Pour in the water, cover the skillet, and simmer for 20 minutes until the meatballs reach 160 F.
- Stir in the parsley and simmer uncovered for 2 minutes to thicken the sauce.
