Ingredients
- 1 betty crocker™ supermoist™ yellow cake mix
- 3 whole eggs
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 5 bananas sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 1/2 cups shredded coconut
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup butter
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Melt the butter in the pan, sprinkle in the brown sugar and coconut, and arrange the banana slices over the mixture.
- Beat the cake mix, eggs, oil, sour cream, and water in a large bowl until smooth.
- Spread the batter over the bananas and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the center is set.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then carefully invert it onto a large plate.
