Ingredients
- 8 oz cherry tomatoes
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 cup quality extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1 lemon
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped basil
- 1/5 tsp italian seasoning blend
- sea salt and freshly ground black pepper (optional)
- 4 1/2 cups green leaf lettuce
- 3/4 cup homemade or store bought croutons (optional)
- 1 1/2 tbsp balsamic glaze
Steps
- Halve the cherry tomatoes and mince the garlic.
- Whisk the olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, basil, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Toss the tomatoes and garlic with the dressing.
- Add the lettuce and croutons, then toss until coated.
- Drizzle the salad with balsamic glaze and chill for 30 minutes.
