Ingredients
- 1 regular box cake mix
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup oil
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-inch round cake pan with cooking oil.
- Beat the cake mix, sour cream, sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla in a large bowl until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread the top evenly.
- Bake for 22 to 25 minutes, until the center is set and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 5 minutes before removing it.
