Ingredients
- 3 tbsp kosher salt
- 3 cups warm water
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 tbsp each chili powder
- 1/2 tsp each salt
- 1/4 tsp each paprika
- 1/4 cup asian sweet red chili sauce
- 2 tbsp dijon mustard
- 2 tbsp honey
- 8 1/2 slices traditional bacon
Steps
- Heat the oven to 300 F.
- Line a large baking sheet with foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the bacon on the rack in a single layer.
- Bake the bacon for 45 minutes.
- Stir the chili sauce, mustard, honey, balsamic vinegar, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, and paprika together.
- Brush the glaze over the bacon and bake for 10 to 15 minutes more, until browned.
- Rest the bacon for 10 minutes before cutting or serving.
