Ingredients
- 1 lb unsalted butter
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 2 tbsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 6 cups flour
- 12 oz butterscotch chips
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350°F and grease two baking sheets with cooking oil.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, and sugar until smooth, then beat in the vanilla and eggs.
- Whisk the salt, baking soda, and flour together, then stir them into the butter mixture.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and butterscotch chips until evenly mixed.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls onto the baking sheets, leaving space between them.
- Bake each sheet for 10 to 12 minutes until the edges are set, then cool the cookies for 5 minutes.
