1/4 tsp baking soda
1 pinch salt
3 eggs
3 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp honey
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup coconut butter
1/4 a vanilla bean
1 1/2 tbsp water
1/2 tbsp honey
unsweetened coconut flakes for garnish (optional)

Steps

Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a donut pan with cooking oil.
Whisk the almond flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
Whisk the eggs, coconut oil, honey, and vanilla in another bowl, then stir them into the dry mixture.
Fill the donut pan and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the donuts are firm.
Stir the coconut butter, scraped vanilla bean, water, and honey until smooth, then spread the icing over the cooled donuts.
Sprinkle the donuts with coconut flakes if desired.
