Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 2 roma tomatoes
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 3/8 cup finely diced red onion
- 2 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 small lime
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dried cilantro
- 1/4 tsp ground cumin (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- 3/8 tsp salt (optional)
Steps
- Halve and pit the avocados, then scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
- Dice the tomatoes and jalapeño, and add them with the red onion and cilantro.
- Add the lime juice, garlic powder, onion powder, dried cilantro, cumin, cayenne, and salt.
- Mash gently with a fork until combined but still chunky.
- Taste and adjust the salt before serving.
