Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked shredded chicken
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 lime
- 8 small flour tortillas
- 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 2 cups shredded mexican cheese blend
- chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
Steps
- Toss the shredded chicken with the taco seasoning and 2 tablespoons water in a skillet.
- Warm the chicken over medium heat for 5 minutes, stirring until hot.
- Heat a clean large skillet over medium heat and lightly oil it if needed.
- Fill each tortilla with chicken and cheese, then fold it closed.
- Cook the tacos for 2 to 3 minutes per side until crisp and the cheese melts.
- Check that the thickest part of the poultry reaches 165 F before serving.
- Squeeze lime over the tacos and add cilantro before serving.
