Ingredients
- 2 lb chicken drumsticks
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp minced onion
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp seasoning mix
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 1/2 cups oil for frying (optional)
Steps
- Combine the garlic, onion, oyster sauce, pepper, salt, seasoning mix, egg, and cornstarch in a large bowl.
- Toss the drumsticks in the mixture until fully coated.
- Heat the oil to 350 F in a deep, heavy skillet or pot.
- Fry the drumsticks in batches for 12 to 15 minutes, turning often, until browned and 165 F near the bone.
- Drain the chicken briefly before serving.
