- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 5 small cod fish fillets
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- salt and black pepper to taste (optional)
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 tbsp garlic clove
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 1 tbsp fresh chopped green onions (optional)
Steps
- Season the cod with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the cod for 4 minutes on each side, until it flakes easily and reaches 145 F.
- Melt the butter with the garlic in the skillet for 2 minutes.
- Spoon the garlic butter over the cod and sprinkle with lemon zest and green onions.
