Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt and pepper (optional)
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped asparagus
  • 2 lemons
  • 2 tbsp honey + 2 tablespoons butter (optional)
  • parsley for topping (optional)

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breasts into thin cutlets, then season them with salt, pepper, and lemon pepper seasoning.
  2. Dredge the chicken in flour and shake off the excess.
  3. Melt the butter in a 12-inch skillet over medium heat, then cook the chicken for 4 minutes per side.
  4. Add the asparagus and 2 tablespoons water, cover, and cook for 4 minutes.
  5. Squeeze the lemons over the skillet, add the honey, and cook for 2 minutes until the chicken reaches 165 F.
