Ingredients
- 1/2 cup green olives
- 1/2 cup black olives
- 2 tbsp lightly packed fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp anchovy paste (optional)
- 1 tbsp capers
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- salt and pepper (optional)
Steps
- Finely chop the green olives, black olives, parsley, garlic, and capers on a cutting board.
- Stir the chopped mixture with the anchovy paste, if using, in a small bowl.
- Mix in the lemon juice and olive oil until combined.
- Season with salt and pepper if needed, then rest the tapenade for 5 minutes.
