1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes
1/2 cup vodka
2 tbsp olive oil
1 onion
1/4 cup sun-dried tomato packed in oil
2 cloves garlic
3/8 tsp italian seasoning
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 lb penne or 1 lb fusilli

Steps

Boil salted water in a large pot, then cook the penne until tender, about 10 minutes.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook the chopped onion for 4 minutes.
Add the garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes, and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in the diced tomatoes and vodka, and simmer for 5 minutes.
Stir in the cream, drain the pasta, and toss it with the sauce until hot.
