- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp horseradish cream
- 4 slices marbled rye bread
- 3 1/2 tbsp butter
- 4 slices swiss cheese
- 1/2 lb cooked corned beef
- 1/2 cup sauerkraut
Steps
- Stir the mayonnaise, pickle juice, relish, lemon juice, and horseradish cream in a small bowl.
- Spread the sauce on four slices of rye bread.
- Layer the corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on two bread slices, then close the sandwiches.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the sandwiches for 3 minutes per side, pressing gently, until the bread is golden and the cheese melts.
