- 1 lb cooked ground sausage
- 1 30 bag frozen or fresh shredded hash browns
- 1 cup diced white onion
- 1 can (4 oz) diced green chiles
- 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
Steps
- Coat a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking oil.
- Layer half the hash browns, sausage, onion, chiles, and cheddar in the slow cooker, then repeat.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, dry mustard, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Pour the egg mixture over the layers and cover the slow cooker.
- Cook on low for 8 hours 15 minutes, until the eggs are firm and reach 160 F.
