Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 1/2 jalapeño peppers
- 3/8 cup finely diced red onion
- 2 1/2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 small lime
- 5/8 tsp ground cayenne pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp salt to taste (optional)
Steps
- Halve and pit the avocados, then scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork until mostly smooth.
- Stir in the jalapeño, red onion, cilantro, cayenne, garlic powder, cumin, and salt.
- Squeeze in the lime juice and mix until combined.
- Taste and adjust the salt, then serve within 10 minutes.
