- 12 tbsp nutella
- 1 1/2 cups plain flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 egg
- 1 cup + 2 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla essence (optional)
- 1 tsp butter
- sliced strawberries (optional)
Steps
- Spoon 1 tablespoon Nutella into 12 small rounds on parchment, then chill them for 10 minutes.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Whisk the egg, milk, and vanilla into the dry mixture until just combined.
- Heat a lightly buttered large skillet over medium heat.
- Pour batter into six pancakes, place one chilled Nutella round in each, and cover with more batter.
- Cook each pancake for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
