Ingredients
- 15 ounce can garbanzo beans
- 2 1/2 cloves garlic
- 3 tbsp tahini
- 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 3/4 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- to taste kosher salt & ground black pepper (optional)
- 4 oz block-style cream cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro leaves
Steps
- Drain the garbanzo beans and add them to a food processor with the cream cheese, tahini, garlic, lime juice, cumin, and smoked paprika.
- Blend for 2 minutes until mostly smooth.
- Add the jalapeños and cilantro, then blend for 1 minute.
- Season with salt and pepper, and blend for 30 seconds more until smooth.
