Ingredients

4 cups water
2 lb sirloin steak tips
4 clove garlic
2 tsp ground ginger
2 tblsp oil
2 red onions
4 tomato
2 tblsp paprika
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 tsp curry powder
4 tbsp tomato puree
1 dash salt
1 chilli
leaves cilantro

Steps

Heat the oil in a large pot over medium-high heat, then brown the beef for 8 minutes.
Add the onions and garlic, and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
Stir in the tomatoes, paprika, black pepper, curry powder, tomato puree, salt, and chilli.
Pour in the water, cover the pot, and simmer for 25 minutes.
Stir in the cilantro and check that the beef reaches 160 F before serving.
